WANGYUAN Socket Series are designed for terminating and locking insulator strings in distribution and transmission line suspension and tension assemblies. Made of hot-dip galvanized forged and cast alloy steel, the U-shaped clevis jaw houses a precision ball-socket cavity with internal steel bearing balls for self-centering alignment of mating ball-eye connectors. Available in WS and W configurations with multiple load ratings. All products comply with relevant international standards.

Internal steel ball bearings within the socket cavity provide self-centering alignment of the mating ball-eye, ensuring uniform contact pressure and eliminating edge-loading. The positive-locking mechanism prevents accidental disconnection under vibration and wind sway.
Manufactured from premium alloy steels through forging and precision casting, the socket bodies feature thick-wall U-jaw construction for exceptional tensile and shear strength. The ball-socket cavity is machined to tight tolerances for consistent mating.
Hot-dip galvanizing encapsulates all surfaces including internal socket cavities and pin holes with a robust zinc coating that resists atmospheric corrosion, galvanic corrosion at dissimilar metal interfaces and chemical attack from industrial pollutants.
